  • Planning Law: Prospect represents Brent London Borough Council at a sentencing hearing against Mohammed Mehdi Ali in which Her Honour Judge Lana Wood sitting at Harrow Crown Court imposes a £75,000 fine with a two year prison sentence in default for two offences under section 179(2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 of failure to comply with the requirements of Enforcement Notices issued by the Council against the unlawful conversion and use of family dwelling houses to HMO’s at Willesden Lane and Tower Road in North London (March 2021)
