With an illustrious career spanning 35 years in the nuclear and defence sectors, John Warden joins Prospect Law to provide unparalleled expertise in nuclear reactor project structure, financing, and the strategic application of nuclear technologies.

John brings a wealth of experience consulting in the nuclear energy sector and having previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nuclear Institute and as a nuclear submariner in the Royal Navy. His leadership in structuring nuclear energy projects across the world and his role in international research projects underscore his deep commitment to advancing nuclear technology and addressing climate goals through nuclear power.

In his new role at Prospect Law, John can advise clients on the strategic, economic and technical aspects of current and future applications of nuclear energy including:

• Strategic Nuclear Energy Projects: Structuring and financing large-scale deployment of nuclear energy with a keen understanding of economic and technical challenges.

John’s expertise extends beyond Prospect Law as an affiliate consultant with the Nuclear Economics Consulting Group (NECG) in Washington, DC. He is also a key advisor to the UK Government’s Institute for Apprenticeships, providing guidance on nuclear engineering and skills development.
