William has worked on a wide range of development projects, providing strategic planning advice to developers, landowners, local authorities and other bodies, including preparing and managing cases at public inquiries (CPO, call-ins, s. 78 appeals, and local plans), drafting and negotiating all types of planning and highways agreements, advising on Judicial Review proceedings and advising on planning issues in relation to property acquisitions and disposals.
He has wide ranging energy and waste project expertise covering major off-shore and on-shore wind farm proposals, as well as the remediation and re-use of landfill and former quarry sites and their associated s. 106 agreements and performance bonds.
