John is a leading advisor on nuclear decommissioning, with extensive international experience across complex projects in the UK, South Korea, and Lithuania. His expertise spans technical delivery, environmental management, and the logistical challenges associated with large-scale decommissioning programmes.
He has led major initiatives in the treatment and management of toxic and radioactive waste across the UK, Japan, and the EU, and brings a strong understanding of both nuclear and wider energy markets, including project financing and infrastructure.
John also has significant experience in policy and regulatory matters, including intergovernmental engagement, contract administration, and compliance. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, he is a former Chair of the UK Government’s Nuclear Export Group and has advised on international energy trade.
