John Ireland
Senior Consultant, Nuclear
John is a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in nuclear new build, decommissioning, and toxic waste management. He has advised on international nuclear projects in Romania, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, focusing on business development and technical project management.
John Mathieson
A technical advisor with over 50 years of experience, John Mathieson has collaborated with international organisations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the European Commission to develop regulatory frameworks for nuclear waste management and decommissioning. His work has been instrumental in assisting governments with creating robust systems that adhere to international safety and environmental standards.
David McIntosh
With 15 years at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), and a further 4 years at Prospect Law, David has a strong understanding of the nuclear regulatory landscape and government and stakeholder relationship dynamics. David has contributed to regulatory frameworks for the nuclear sector and advised clients on the impact of these regulations on their operations. He has advised on public procurement competitions in the nuclear sector, nuclear transport issues, and the development of best practices, ensuring compliance with evolving national and international standards. Since joining Prospect Law, David has continued to guide clients in the nuclear sector on the application of regulations to their activities.
